Utilizing the COOL SPACE JACE, we can integrate with your BACnet or LON communicating Building Automation System (BAS) or communicating thermostats. We utilize the TRIDIUM based platform to accomplish the communication protocol required to interface with your HVAC system.
Based on number of rooms, starts at $3,995 for up to 30 rooms. Powered by Events2HVAC, the software option of COOL SPACE provides integration between ministrEspace and your HVAC units. System requirements include:
If your organization does not have a Building Automation System and are using manual or localized programmable thermostats, contact us to discuss the options of installing a standalone communicating thermostat system that will allow you to meet your budget and facility needs.
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION:
- If you have an existing BAS, it is critical to involve the church’s BAS, HVAC or Controls contractor in the planning and installation as early in the process as possible as additional programming may be required. Costs of said contractors will be the churches responsibility.
- For sites with multiple buildings, it may be necessary to include multiple JACE’s and/or internet connections. (This will be determined on a case-by case basis.)
- Completion of the integration form is required prior to a price being established.
- Cool Space has a monthly subscription fee of $29.95/month in addition to your ministrEspace subscription. (By far the lowest priced solution in the market.)
Cool Space set up and installation costs are set based on the system requirements but the following are good budget numbers:
- COOL SPACE JACE and Scheduling Integration Driver: Starting at $3,495 for small systems and increasing depending on the total number of HVAC units and controllers. (Maybe the only hardware required with a BAS.)
- Software Option – Based on number of Rooms starts at $3.995 for up to 30 rooms
- “Communicating Thermostats”: $800-1200/each. (This includes the cost of the JACE or Software assuming at least 10 thermostats.)
- Wireless Thermostat Option: add $30-50 per thermostat based on the number of gateways required.
